Techroll

Overview

Techroll consolidates production, inventory, quality, and shipping into one ERP. Before, the team ran on Excel and three off-the-shelf tools that didn't talk to each other. We designed and built the system with the operators, not around them.

What we built

• ProductionWork orders, routing, station-level progress, and shift handover.
• InventoryMulti-warehouse stock, lot tracking, and barcode-based picking and receiving.
• QualityQA checklists at each station with photo evidence and reject-rate tracking.
• ShippingOrder-to-shipment tracking with carrier integrations and customer-facing status pages.
• ReportsDaily output, on-time-delivery, and yield reports for owners and shop-floor managers.

Architecture

Next.js web client with a Node.js API and PostgreSQL on AWS. Designed for tablet use on the floor, with offline-tolerant action queues. We continue to operate the system jointly with the client team.

Outcome

Live in production across the factory. Three separate tools were retired. The shop floor now runs entirely on Techroll, with weekly releases driven by feedback from the operators themselves.
