Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid Dearnode products and services. It supplements our Terms of Service.

If your situation isn't covered here, write to support@dearnode.com. We respond within two business days.

2. One-time licenses

Dearnode products are sold as one-time purchases, not subscriptions. There is nothing to cancel and no recurring charge.

Every license, including limited launch-price editions, is eligible for a full refund within thirty (30) days of purchase. You don't need a reason. Write to support@dearnode.com and we'll process it.

3. B2B custom development services

Refund terms for custom development, consulting, and engineering services are defined in the signed engagement letter or statement of work between Dearnode, Inc. and the client, regardless of client location or jurisdiction. This refund policy does not apply to B2B custom services.

4. Additional protections

Beyond the 30-day window, we will also refund in the following cases:

  • Duplicate charges. Refunded in full.
  • Wrong product purchased in error. Refunded if reported within fourteen days and the license has not been actively used.
  • Discontinued product. If we discontinue a product you have paid for, you can request a refund proportional to the time since purchase.
  • EU consumer right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a fourteen-day cooling-off period to cancel a purchase, as required by EU consumer law. This applies regardless of the table above.
  • Statutory consumer rights elsewhere. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have in your jurisdiction.

5. How to request a refund

Write to support@dearnode.com with:

  • The email address used at purchase.
  • The order or receipt number (from your confirmation email).
  • A short note about why you're requesting a refund — it helps us improve the product.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

If you have a billing issue, please contact us first. Filing a chargeback before contacting support may result in your license being suspended pending resolution.

We respond quickly to legitimate refund requests; a chargeback is rarely the fastest path.
